An established and growing independent merchant business operating across the South East is looking to appoint an experienced Branch Manager to lead one of its customer-focused branches. The business has built a strong reputation for service, product knowledge, and long-term customer relationships within the trade sector.
The Opportunity
This is an opportunity for an experienced branch leader or senior supervisor to take ownership of a busy branch operation, lead a committed team, and influence commercial performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day branch operations
- Lead, coach, and develop branch colleagues
- Drive sales growth and branch profitability
- Deliver excellent service to trade and retail customers
- Maintain operational standards and compliance requirements
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
Candidate Profile
- Previous leadership experience within merchanting, distribution, wholesale, or a related trade environment
- Commercially aware with a proactive approach
- Strong people management and team development skills
- Customer-focused with a hands-on management style
- Comfortable managing branch performance and operational targets
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- Alternate Saturday mornings
